Plot:
The story takes place in England at the end of the 19th century. The innocent and beautiful girl Colette (Keira Knightley) married the man Willy (Dominic West), who was a writer. With the support and encouragement of her husband, Colette picked up a pen and began to create based on her experience in her student days, and finally completed her first novel. What Colette didn't expect was that Willy actually published the novel under his own name. Once the novel was published, it caused a sensation in the literary world, and Willy became famous in one fell swoop. Since then, Willy has discovered his wife's outstanding literary talent, so he began to force her to continue to be his own gunman. When Colette couldn't bear it and rejected her husband's unreasonable request, Willy actually turned violently against her. Willy had an affair, and Colette also found that although she was a woman, she had a strong attraction to women.
