The star-studded "Storm" is still produced by RHI Entertainment. The story tells that billionaire Robert Terrell (played by Treat Williams, "Everwood") has devoted his life to meteorological research and invented countless new meteorological technologies through the "Atmospheric Research Center" he founded. However, during a test run, a powerful energy pulse was accidentally sent into the ionosphere, and the result was catastrophic - the previously regular super hurricane suddenly changed direction; the tropical region blew a biting cold wind; the heavy rain poured down; unprecedented huge lightning struck the city in the storm, smashing buildings into ruins. All this is just the beginning. Dr. Jonathan Kirk (played by James Van Der Beek, "Dawson's Creek") is the only scientist who dares to stand up and tell the truth. He asked the "Atmospheric Research Center" to stop related research immediately and completely close the institution. But Terrell has made up his mind and forced his research team to continue the experiment. He had sincerely hoped to benefit all mankind through his career, but he was stubbornly opportunistic and chose to "advance" at the critical moment, making the whole thing further and further away from his expected goal. Under the instruction of General Braxton (played by David James Elliott, "JAG"), Terrell's thinking has undergone a complete change: he intends to transform this technology into a deadly weapon to ensure his power and status. Dr. Kirk realized that it was difficult to stop the entire project alone, so he secretly contacted female reporter Danni Wilson (played by Teri Polo, "Meet the Parents"). The two decided to jointly expose Terrell's conspiracy and explain the real cause of climate change to the panicked and overwhelmed ordinary people. This is certainly not an easy task, not to mention that the US government is not on Dr. Kirk's side. Extreme weather is getting longer and more frequent, affecting a wider range and causing more and more damage. Before the surface of the earth is completely destroyed, Dr. Kirk and Danni have to race against time to fight for the last hope.
