Plot:
Masters of Sex is a historical drama that traces the origins of the American "sexual revolution". We have all seen "Masters of Horror" and "Masters of Science Fiction", but what about "Masters of Sex"? The drama is based on the best-selling book "Masters of Sex: The Life and Times of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, the Couple Who Taught America How to Love". The story describes the lives of William Masters (Michael Sheen) and Virginia Johnson (Lizzy Caplan), the so-called "explorers of human sexuality" in the 1960s and their influence on popular culture at the time. It is said that it was because of these two people's in-depth research on sex that the "sexual revolution" in Western society, especially in the United States, was triggered. Caitlin Fitzgerald plays the "third party" between the male and female protagonists - Libby Masters, the wife of the male protagonist Masters. Nicholas D'Agosto, Teddy Sears, Beau Bridges, and Margo Martindale participated in the performance.
