The story takes place in the beautiful Hokkaido. A fire burned the hotel to ashes. A 30-year-old woman named Setsuko Koda (Saki Aibu) became the victim of the fire. After the police's identification, all the signs at the scene showed that this was a suicide. What was unraveled afterwards was Setsuko's tragic past. Kiichiro (Eiji Okuda) is Setsuko's husband. However, he had a romantic past with Setsuko's mother, Ritsuko Fujishima (Hiromi Takigawa), which made the relationship between Setsuko and Ritsuko very tense. Masahiro Sawaki (Masahiro Ozawa) is Setsuko's lover, and it was he who witnessed Setsuko's last appearance before her death. An unexpected photo made the whole incident once again fall into confusion. Tsuzuki is the criminal police in charge of investigating the case. Under his unraveling, the truth of the incident gradually revealed its face.
