Ibushi Masumi, the "professor" played by Itao Hajime, teaches men how to have mistresses. Daito Shunsuke plays Tadashi; Fuchigami Yasushi plays Mitsushima Yukio; Morita Kanji plays Sakata Ango, and they play men who have no charm but want to have mistresses and accept Ibushi's guidance. Higashi Kankyu plays the key character of the play, Edogawa Raito. Muramatsu Toshifumi plays the mahjong shop owner, Kitahara Kenzo.
