Garfield has been living a life of high-calorie food, sleeping, playing tricks on stupid dogs and being loved by his owner Jon Ab (Breckin Meyer). Garfield thinks this is a perfect life. Until one day, when Jon took Garfield to the pet hospital, he was entrusted by a beautiful veterinarian to adopt the puppy Odie. Garfield's life changed completely. Odie's arrival meant that he had to share food and Ab's love with Garfield. What made Garfield even more jealous was that Ab took Odie with him on a date with the beautiful veterinarian instead of him. Garfield wanted to kick Odie out of the house. One night, Garfield locked Odie out of the door. He originally wanted to punish Odie, but he didn't expect Odie to get lost. Ab went around looking for Odie but failed. After investigation, Garfield learned that Odie was captured by a cruel dog trainer. Garfield decided to show his skills and go alone to rescue Odie.
