Tetsuji Tamayama plays Nobuo, who is the deputy editor-in-chief of a monthly literary magazine at a publishing house and is busy with work. Nozomi Sasaki plays his wife Aya, who likes to wear bright red clothes and has physical relationships with multiple men. She also receives treatment privately for this "heart disease" in the hope of overcoming it, but one day she has a relationship with her husband's colleague. The series is based on the story of this couple, telling the love-hate story of men and women with darkness in their hearts.
