ABC Family has confirmed that Dominic Sherwood will play the male lead in the drama Shadowhunters. Earlier, ABC Family skipped the pilot episode and directly booked the series. The series is adapted from the series of books by Cassandra Clare, the author of the Holy Grail series. As a supernatural novel that is popular among teenagers, the protagonist of the show is Clary Fray, a girl who found out on her 18th birthday that she was a hybrid of an angel and a human who hunted demons. After being kidnapped by her mother, she embarked on an adventure about fate with a mysterious hunter and her good friend Simon.
