Paleontologist Rick Marshall (Will Ferrell) proposed the idea of time travel and obtained $15 million in funding to develop a superluminal particle instrument that can travel through time and space. However, the public did not buy it, but instead ridiculed and criticized it. For three years, Rick had no choice but to teach in an elementary school and gave up on himself. One day, Holly (Anna Friel), a beautiful woman from Cambridge, found Rick. She showed him an incredible fossil to encourage Rick to continue his research. Rick, who regained his confidence, finally made a superluminal particle instrument. He and Holly came to the place where the fossil was discovered and prepared to test time travel.
