Plot:
Wu Hanzhong (played by Wu Yaohan) lost his wife at an early age and raised four children independently: Xiaodong (played by Lin Qingxia), Xiaonan (played by Maggie Cheung), Xiaoxi (played by Qiu Shuzhen) and Xiaobei (played by Lin Zhiying). Hanzhong's friend died suddenly due to illness. He felt that life was free, so he wanted to see his children get married and have families in his lifetime, so he pretended to be terminally ill and let his daughters go home with their boyfriends. The daughters who were still single had to find someone to pretend to be their boyfriends. Xiaodong found a male prostitute Xie Sha (played by Tony Leung Ka Fai), Xiaonan found a gangster (played by Jacky Cheung), and Xiaoxi found a pure man (played by Ekin Cheng). At this time, Hanzhong's former girlfriend (played by Sandra Ng) learned that Hanzhong had a lot of money and had cancer, so she wanted to become his wife. All the children saw her face, but they were concerned about their father's limited time. And they also developed true feelings for their respective fake boyfriends.
