Inspired by memoirs, "From the Beginning" tells the cross-cultural love story of Amy Wheeler (Zoe Saldana), an American student studying abroad in Italy, who meets and falls in love with Lino, a Sicilian chef. Their whirlwind romance faces many unexpected challenges, including completely different cultural backgrounds; just like real life, there are many lighthearted moments, but also many serious moments. However, when Lino faces unimaginable health problems and the couple's future is threatened, the two families come together to build an unexpectedly large family, proving that love can transcend borders.
