Plot:
Emma (Helen McCrory) is an experienced lawyer who specializes in overturning cases for people who have lost in court. This means that she has to bear much more pressure than other peers at work, but all this is not worth mentioning for Emma, who is full of justice. This time, Emma's client is a man named Kevin (Sam Swainsbury), who has been in prison for 14 years. Once, Kevin was accused of killing a female student. Although there was no conclusive evidence that Kevin was the murderer, the public opinion at the time was very unfavorable to Kevin. Under pressure, Kevin pleaded guilty. Now, Kevin's son has grown into a young boy. His ex-wife, who never believed that Kevin was guilty, decided not to let the child bear the stigma of his father being a murderer.
