In May 1962, the Italian luxury liner Antonia Graca suddenly disappeared along with hundreds of passengers on board when it was sailing near the Bering Strait, becoming one of the famous unsolved cases in modern maritime history. In 2002, a Canadian Air Force plane discovered a small boat drifting in the sea area. Pilot Jack Freeman (Desmond Harrington) was attracted by the secret behind the boat. He hired Captain Sean Murphy (Gabriel Byrne) and his search and rescue team to go to the high seas to find the aimlessly drifting passenger ship. According to maritime law, any unowned ship found on the high seas belongs to the discoverer, and a luxury passenger ship is undoubtedly a huge fortune.
