WOWOW's 25th anniversary project is a remake of the popular American TV series "Cold Case". The Japanese version moves the original story background from Philadelphia, USA to Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It tells the story of policewoman Yuri Ishikawa (played by Yoshida Yoshi) and her team rediscovering and analyzing evidence, solving various unsolved crimes that occurred many years ago, bringing the real culprits to justice, and restoring justice to the victims and their families.
