Plot:
Archaeologist Dr. Daniel Jackson has studied ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics and has his own theory about who built the pyramids, but many people disdain his views. In order to find strong evidence, Daniel resolutely decided to go to the so-called Stargate that can connect the two worlds with a military team led by Colonel Jack O'Neill sent by the government. They want to pass through this door and enter the mythical world of the Pharaoh. Before leaving, Catherine gave him a Thunder Eye pendant that she picked up when she was a child, saying that it would bring him good luck. Daniel and the team passed through the Stargate, but found that it was just a desert mining area. They tried to communicate with the miners. When those people saw the Thunder Eye pendant hanging on Daniel's neck, they immediately knelt down. It turned out that this pendant was a symbol of God here. Daniel met a beautiful girl named Shuri and found the text that recorded the local history. It is recorded that a man named Lei from a distant planet escaped from his homeland, which was on the verge of extinction, and went to the Milky Way to seek immortality. He finally found humans on Earth. Lei took advantage of a boy's curiosity and possessed him. After taking on a human form, Lei called himself the Sun God. He used the Stargate to bring people from Earth here as slaves. A riot broke out on Earth, and the Stargate was buried. Lei was afraid that there would be a riot here, so he forbade people from reading and writing, and did not let people know the truth. When Lei knew that a group of people had come to Earth, he wanted to use the bomb that the team brought to blow up the Stargate to destroy the Earth. The awakened people fought against the Sun God together with the team. The Sun God was doomed to escape, but the bomb exploded, blowing up the Sun God's pyramid spaceship. The people of the Stargate regained their freedom.
