Plot:
The life of Puyi (played by Zun Long) is told in the movie. He ascended the throne at the age of three. In his young eyes, there was only a cricket on the minister's body. The country was just an unknown noun in his heart. When he grew up, he thought he could make changes, but the eunuchs burned the court account books. He thought he was the master of the Qing Dynasty, but he became a puppet of the Japanese. After liberation, he took the train back from the Soviet Union, accompanied by the People's Liberation Army who escorted and monitored him. He guessed that he could not escape death, so he hid in the small bathroom and cut his wrists to commit suicide. However, he did not die on the train, and the mockery of fate was still waiting for him. The ups and downs of the Cultural Revolution left scars on him.
