Plot:
Shao Jinkeng (played by Chen Hao) made a cheongsam for Bao Cuilong (played by Xiang Hailan), a former Qing Dynasty princess whom he deeply admired. This exquisite cheongsam made Shao Jinkeng's fame quickly rise in the industry, and he also started his career that was destined to be bumpy. Bao Cuilong was the secretary of Rong Haodong (played by Jiang Hua), the owner of Feng Stage. Under her matchmaking, Shao Jinkeng met Leng Xiangleng (played by Wu Meiheng), the pillar of the song and dance troupe. However, in the end, Shao Jinkeng's career reached a bottleneck, and so, Shao Jinkeng's unlearned younger brother Jinqiang (played by Tang Wenlong) was even more troublesome, making Shao Jinkeng's already difficult situation worse. Just when Shao Jinkeng fell into despair, it was the kind-hearted singer Haitang (played by Gigi Lai) who stayed by his side. Haitang loved Shao Jinkeng so much that she was willing to live and die with him and share hardships.
