King Josephine (voiced by Christopher Gaze) has twelve beautiful daughters. While enjoying the joy of family life, the king began to worry about the future fate of these twelve overly lively and active little princesses. In order to let the princesses grow up healthily, the king found Duchess Rowena (voiced by Catherine O'Hara) and asked her to be their "teacher", hoping that this true noble lady could lead the girls on the right path. Living in the palace for a long time, Rowena has developed a strict and conservative personality.
