The story takes place in the science laboratory of Saitama University, where Ayame Himuro (voiced by Amamiya Sora) and Yukimura Shinya (voiced by Uchida Yuma) are two graduate students working here. One day, what Shinya didn't expect was that she actually received a confession from Ayame. As a science graduate student who puts science first in everything, she naturally has to use logical evidence to disprove love. In order to prove that Ayame's love for her is indeed true, Shinya led the entire laboratory to start an experiment on love. The commentator Kotoba Zou (voiced by Hara Natsuko), who is ordered around like a servant every day, Ena Tsuchida (voiced by Omori Higashi), who is erratic and too self-centered, and Inukai Kosuke (voiced by Fukushima Jun), who seems to be a bad boy but is actually a dead otaku, are these lovely researchers who accompany Ayame and Shinya in their love experiments.
