When Li Qi (Gallen Lo) is at the end of his rope, he meets his elementary school classmate Xie Yuan (Francis Ng). Xie Yuan mistakenly thinks Li Qi is going to commit suicide by jumping into the sea and rescues him. Li Qi has since stayed at Xie Yuan's home. Their neighbor Feng Renkun (Peter Lai) introduces them to the set as extras, and they also meet popular movie stars Shao Fangfang (Jessica Hsuan) and Cheng Baozhu (Maggie Cheung). The four of them have gone from being happy enemies to being in love, and have faced many life challenges together...
