Plot:
Detective Lai Chun-sheng (Cheng Tse-shi), who has repeatedly solved strange cases, joined the police dog team because he was saved by a police kennel while investigating a case. He loves dogs and is familiar with their habits. After retirement, Chun-sheng used his pension to open a dog farm in Cheung Shing Village to fulfill his lifelong wish. Chun-sheng and his daughter Lai Sin-ru (Chung Ka-yan) depend on each other for life, and the father and daughter have a deep affection. As a veterinarian, Sin-ru often treats injuries for stray dogs and opens a pet clinic next to the dog farm. The arrogant rich girl Jiang Tian'e (Maggie Shiu) takes her dog to the pet hospital where Sin-ru works for medical treatment, and she has a dispute with Chun-sheng, but thus forms an indissoluble bond. The landlord of the dog farm, Zhou Yonggong (Ma Junwei), has different views from Chun-sheng on many things. The two often fight secretly and are dissatisfied with each other. Yonggong's cousin He Tianyou (Huang Haoran) is a member of the police dog team and Chun-sheng's apprentice. In the life of Changsheng Village, "dog idiot" Junsheng helped the villagers solve a series of strange cases and won the trust and love of the villagers.
