Plot:
The story takes place in the late Qing Dynasty. The foreign guns and cannons of the Western powers blasted open the door that had been closed for a long time in the East. Empress Dowager Cixi covered the sky with her hands and had no intention of national destiny. The land of China was in ruins, and the people were living in misery. The fire of revolution was brewing vigorously, and it was about to become a prairie fire that would overthrow the dynasty. Wang Wu (played by Yang Fan), the captain of the broadsword team of Liu Yongfu's Black Flag Army, had superb martial arts, but he suffered a tragic defeat in the assassination of the Japanese commander. His men died one after another. He jumped off the cliff to commit suicide, and lived in seclusion in the countryside of Northeast China after surviving.
