The story begins in the Ming Dynasty. Feng San (played by Yuen Wah) is vicious and evil. As a Jinyiwei and Feng San's junior, Fang Shouzheng (played by Yuen Biao) vowed to bring Feng San to justice. However, Feng San is cunning and even wants to steal the black jade Buddha that can reverse time and space to escape the law. After several fights, both of them fell off a cliff. Time flies, and it is modern times. The archaeological team excavated the frozen bodies of Feng San and Fang Shouzheng in the snow and transported them to the United States for research. However, an accident on the way brought them back to life. Fang Shouzheng met a bad girl named Ayu (played by Maggie Cheung) by chance, and became her bodyguard by mistake. Feng San did not change his evil nature, joined the underworld, and continued to do evil. When Fang Shouzheng learned that Feng San was still doing evil, he decided to continue his unfinished mission.
