Based on the best-selling science fiction series of the same name by Hugh Howey, the series is set in a damaged, toxic future where a community of men and women live in a society full of rules and regulations in a huge underground silo hundreds of floors deep. Anything related to "going out" has become a deadly taboo. Rebecca Ferguson plays Juliet, an independent and hardworking engineer, and she also serves as an executive producer. Tim Robbins plays Bernard, an IT director who joins Juliet's team.
