Plot:
During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, Japanese pirates plundered along the southeastern coastal border and eventually occupied Taizhou. Emperor Jiajing repeatedly sent troops to encircle and suppress the pirates, but the war against the pirates failed repeatedly due to the frame-up by domestic treacherous officials and people who maliciously undermined the rules of the martial arts world. Faced with repeated defeats in the war, the commander Qi Jiguang suspected that there were spies of Japanese pirates around him. After the unremitting efforts of Yang Tianzong, Guo Wenmei and others, they finally helped Qi Jiguang find the spy who was ambushing around him. This person was Zhu Tieqiao, who no one expected. It turned out that he went astray in anger in order to avenge his father's murder.
