Plot:
The story takes place in the 23rd century, when human technology has reached the point where interstellar travel is possible. Spock (Zachary Quinto), a boy born in 2230 on Vulcan, is often ridiculed and bullied by his colleagues because his mother Amanda Grayson (Winona Ryder) is a human. His father Sarek (Ben Cross) is a diplomat on Vulcan. Spock has been struggling between the serious Vulcan logic education and his human emotions since he was a child. When Spock grew up, he met Kirk (Chris Pine), who also had great ambitions. Although the two were constantly in conflict, they gradually began to understand each other through various mission tests. The old captain of the Enterprise is Christopher Pike (Bruce Greenwood), and the crew includes medical officer "Old Bones" McCoy (Karl Urban), chief engineer Scott (Simon Pegg), communications officer Uhura (Zoe Saldana), helmsman Sulu (John Cho), and 17-year-old navigator - genius teenager Chekov (Anton Yelchin). The old man Spock (Leonard Nimoy) from the future traveled through time and space and told Kirk that the remnants of the Romulan Empire in the future, Nino (Eric Bana), had also returned to the present and led a large group of people to revenge. Nino destroyed Spock's hometown Vulcan, and the next target is the earth... This film won the 82nd Academy Award for Best Makeup. [Media Review] The most exciting Star Trek movie in 30 years, it marks the beginning of Captain Kirk's new legend. If the next sequel dares to maintain the fast-paced style of this one, it will surely become the most unignorable box office bomb in the next few years. ——"Empire" is the best movie since "Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan", and its audiovisual shock is far beyond its time. ——CinemaBlend.com JJ Abrams successfully brought a forgotten classic series back to life. Although the new "Star Trek" is not as profound as its predecessor, it can still move the audience with its infinite vitality. ——Dark Horizons is an exciting movie. It not only achieved the most exciting moment of the series, but is undoubtedly a highlight in the history of science fiction movies. ——"The Australian"
