FBI agent Joe (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and partner Catherine (Abbie Cornish) are investigating a serial murder case. The brutality of the case and the confusion of logic made the two agents feel at a loss. In desperation, they found the psychic detective John (Anthony Hopkins) who had been in seclusion for many years, hoping to find useful clues with his special features. However, the murderer in the case seemed to know that John had returned to the arena. Not only did he commit the crime again without scruples, he also left a provocative note.
