Young scientist Samantha is one of the survivors of the apocalyptic catastrophe on Earth. She did not abandon her homeland like others, but stayed on Earth and worked hard to find a way for humanity to survive. When the last spaceship was heading for a distant human space colony, her determination to stay was shaken by the arrival of another survivor, Makka. She had to decide whether to set off with Makka to start a new life in a human refuge, or to stay and defend the Earth.
