Plot:
In the middle of the 22nd century, the earth did not become better with the progress of civilization and technology, but became a hopeless wasteland under the poison of various greed. A few extremely wealthy people abandoned their hometowns and built a paradise like heaven on the space station floating above the earth, and continued to live a happy life of luxury and luxury. The vast majority of poor people have to stay on the devastated earth, lingering in desperate chaos, and are forced to endure the oppression of various harsh and ridiculous federal regulations. They work hard to earn a meager living under the industrial system established by the rich, and sometimes look up at the sky, fantasizing about immigrating to the space station as soon as possible to start a new life. Helplessly, under the iron-fisted control of government official Delacourt (Jodie Foster), the stowaways turned into fragments in the universe again and again. Max (Matt Damon), an ordinary person who is exposed to strong radiation at work, will die in five days unless he uses the advanced medical system of the space station. Even if there is only a glimmer of hope, we must move towards paradise...
