Daming meets a mysterious girl named An'an, who travels through time and space to the Qing Dynasty. He is forced to sue Song Shijie in the name of the Qing Dynasty, making the fictional character Song Shijie a real person. An'an's goal is to use this to build a bridge between the real Daming and the virtual world Song Shijie, so that his adoptive father can find a way to reunite with his lover's family in the virtual world. Xue Yin, a time and space restorer, comes and tries to stop them. He fights wits and courage with the traveler An'an, and leaves endless ambiguity between catching and releasing, fighting and making trouble. However, the fight between the two accidentally allows Jack the Ripper to mix into the Qing Dynasty. Jack is like a fish in water and starts a killing spree. On the other side, Daming and Song Shijie have become one, and the case is successfully overturned. Shijie is remembered in the world, and a new parallel universe is created because of this. However, An'an does not belong to this world, and her life is in danger! At the last moment, the restorer Xue Yin sacrifices himself to lead Jack the Ripper away, turning back time.
