The third season of the British drama "Shetland Mysteries" has been ordered by the BBC, with Douglas Henshall still playing the protagonist detective Jimmy Perez. It is expected to be filmed in 2015 and broadcast on BBC1 in 2016. Different from the previous two seasons of one case and two episodes, the third season will use all six episodes to tell a complete case.
