After receiving a terminal diagnosis, Sarah (Karen Gillan) decided to use cloning technology to copy herself to alleviate the pain caused by her death to her friends and family; but she miraculously recovered. However, her attempt to destroy her clone failed, and the court authorized a penalty: the original and the clone must duel, and only one of them can survive.
