The Clone Wars have been going on for three years, and the Republic is about to win. General Gefet and Count Dooku (Christopher Lee), who split the Alliance, kidnapped the Prime Minister of the Parliament Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) and fled. Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Anakin (Hayden Christensen) were ordered by the Council of Elders to rescue him. Anakin killed Count Dooku and rescued Palpatine, but General Gefet escaped. Anakin dreamed that his wife Amidala (Natalie Portman) would die in childbirth.
