Action star Yuan Bao (Eason Chan) has been popular for more than 20 years but has never won the Best Actor Award. He is suspected of participating in transnational drug trafficking because of his friendship with the Thai gangster boss "Eight-Faced Buddha". Tie Zhu (Li Ronghao), a die-hard fan, sneaks into the crew of Yuan Bao's new movie through the assistant director (Cui Zhijia) who is good at "unspoken rules" and works hard with the police to collect evidence to clear his idol of suspicion.
