Adapted from the classic fairy tale "The Adventures of Pinocchio", it tells the story of a puppet carved by an old carpenter (Roberto Benigni) who came to life by chance and was treated as his own son and named "Pinocchio" (Federico Ielapi). The carpenter patiently taught Pinocchio, but the playful Pinocchio ran to the circus to watch puppet shows, and thus began a journey away from home.
