Bright sunshine is soon replaced by cold, brutal winds, and as temperatures drop rapidly, planet Earth enters another ice age, with protagonists Fahey and Erika Eleniak feeling the horror of the impending disaster. As signs of a second ice age appear, scientist Dr. David Kotzmon (Fahey) must come up with a plan to protect Earth and all living things. Caught in a storm that threatens to sweep across the known continent on their Miami home base, David and a small group of survivors, including former lover Bryn (Erika Eleniak), must escape to a special temperature-controlled chamber before it's too late, isolating themselves from the world and waiting for the thaw outside.
