Dax (Lil Rel Howery) participates in a street basketball tournament held in Rucker Park to fulfill his basketball dream. After he loses to his opponent Mookie, his luck keeps going downhill until Dax meets former street tycoon Uncle Drew (Kyrie Irving) and hopes to get his help. Uncle Drew proposes to build his own team. To this end, the two set out together to find Uncle Drew's old teammates (Shaquille O'Neal, Chris Webber, Reggie Miller, Nate Robinson), and then one after another exciting games are staged, and a series of interesting stories happen.
