The story takes place in Hong Kong in the 1930s, when corrupt officials were rampant and cases of abduction and trafficking occurred frequently. One day, Liang Xin (played by Yang Yi) went to the police station to report a case and met a miscellaneous officer named Jinhua (played by Zhang Jicong). Liang Xin knew that the police station was full of money and evil spirits, so he naturally did not entrust the hope of solving the case to Jinhua. Later, Liang Xin met the policeman Shen Yiran (played by Yang Ming). Unlike other detectives, Shen Yiran was young, promising, upright and brave. With his help, the human traffickers finally fell into the law.
