Plot:
Eugénie is a radiant and passionate girl who lived in the 19th century. She has a special gift: she can hear and see the dead. When her family discovers this secret, she is sent by her father and brother to the Salpêtrière Hospital, a neurological clinic, leaving her with no chance of escaping her fate. The clinic is run by the famous Professor Charcot, a renowned neurologist and pioneer psychiatrist, who treats female patients diagnosed with hysteria, madness and epilepsy, as well as all types of physical and mental disorders. Eugénie's next path will lead her to meet Geneviève, a neurological nurse whose life passes before her eyes, but she has never really lived it. Their meeting will change their fate. They prepare for the famous "Mad Beauty Ball" that Professor Charcot holds every year at the clinic.
