Plot:
Brandon (Michael Fassbender) is a well-dressed white-collar worker in New York. He loves adult movies, is used to masturbating, and has affairs with prostitutes. However, his relationship with his sister, Cece (Carey Mulligan), is hot and cold. Cece always leaves him messages on the phone, but he always avoids her. However, when Cece moves in with him, he shows special concern. Brandon and his boss go to listen to Cece's singing, and the boss is moved by her grace, while he is immersed in her singing and cries. In front of his sister, Brandon acts indifferent, but his boss pursues him boldly. This makes Brandon extremely ashamed. One day, after a video call with his family, his boss begins to reprimand Brandon for filling his computer hard drive with adult movies, calling it a shame. Brandon, who is furious, gets angry at his sister, which makes her very sad. Brandon once dated a black female secretary in the company, but he found that what he couldn't give up was not his sex addiction, but the brother-sister relationship in his heart... Michael Fassbender won the Best Actor Award at the 68th Venice Film Festival for this film
