Sex/Life takes a fresh look at female identity and desire, telling the story of a love triangle between a woman, her husband, and her old flame. Billie Connelly (Sarah Shahi) wasn’t born to be a stay-at-home suburban wife and mother. Before marrying the loving and reliable Cooper (Mike Vogel) and moving to Connecticut, Billie was a free-spirited wild child. She lives in New York City with her best friend Sasha (Margaret Odette), working hard and playing harder. Exhausted and nostalgic about taking care of two young children, Billie begins writing in a diary, fantasizing about her passionate journey with her sexy ex-boyfriend Brad (Adam Demos)—whom she’s still hanging over.
