Plot:
In order to cope with the Japanese army's large-scale sweep after the Hundred Regiments Campaign, a certain unit of the Eighth Route Army had to relocate. In order to ensure the safe transfer of the large army and the villagers, the newly appointed deputy commander of the military sub-district Li Zhiyuan (played by Li Youbin), battalion commander Lu Tianze (played by Wang Tao), company commander Huang Changjun (played by Jiang Shui) and others led the soldiers, using Majiabao as a blocking position and the courtyard of villager Liu Haijing (played by Shi Lanya) as a blocking point, and fought to the death to block the Japanese army in a heroic story.
