Cinemax announced that it has renewed Banshee for a second season, which will be broadcast in 2014. Cinemax is a paid cable channel and a sub-channel of HBO. Banshee has 483,000 viewers per episode, which is not bad. Cinemax has previously renewed StrikeBack and a bunch of "soft porn" midnight dramas.
