The peaceful and tranquil town of Karakura welcomes the golden autumn. Ichigo Kurosaki (voiced by Morita Seiichi) and Rukia Kuchiki (voiced by Orikasa Fumiko) have just dealt with the Hollows' chaos, and a group of soul-depriving spirits appear next to the town station. They wander around, and any method of expulsion is ineffective. Just when they are at a loss, the death girl Akane Shizuku, who holds the soul-slashing sword "Mirokumaru", suddenly appears and successfully disperses the soul-depriving spirits. Rukia is quite uneasy about the series of events, so she returns to the Soul Society to investigate. From the mouth of the Gotei 13, Ichigo learns that a new space has appeared in the broken world between the real world and the Soul Society, and it is constantly expanding, causing the real world and the Soul Society to communicate. All this is not formed naturally, it seems that someone is secretly manipulating everything, and Akane Shizuku is the key to this incident... This film is adapted from the original work of the same name by Japanese manga artist Kubo Tite, and is the first theatrical version of the animation.
