Plot:
Bilbo Baggins is a hobbit over 100 years old, living in his hometown of the Shire. He loves adventure by nature. During an adventure in his youth, he got the Supreme Ring from the monster Gollum. This ring was made by the Dark Lord Sauron. It has the evil power to enslave the world and can command several other rings of power. In the battle between the human alliance and the orc army 3,000 years ago, the alliance won and got the Supreme Ring. After thousands of years, the ring fell into the hands of Gollum and was accidentally obtained by Bilbo. Because of his daily life with the ring, Bilbo's character was also affected. At his 111th birthday party, he decided to leave everything to his nephew Frodo (Elijah Wood) and continue his adventure. Bilbo's good friend, the grey wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen), knows the secret of the Supreme Ring. At the same time, the Dark Lord Sauron already knows that his ring has fallen into the hands of the hobbits. Sauron is rebuilding the fortress of Barad-dur, gathering countless orcs, preparing to seize the Lord of the Rings with a large army and conquer the world. Gandalf persuaded Frodo to escort the Lord of the Rings to the Elven Kingdom of Ravenhill. Accompanied by his good friends Sam, Pippin and Merry, Frodo got the help of Gondor Prince Aragorn at the Prancing Pony Inn. After many hardships, he finally arrived at the Elven Kingdom. However, the elves were unwilling to keep the evil One Ring. Representatives from various countries in Middle-earth held a meeting to discuss and reach an agreement to send the One Ring to the flames of Mount Doom to be completely destroyed. Frodo stepped forward to accept this task. This time, in addition to his three good friends, he was accompanied by Gandalf, Aragorn, the elf Legolas (Orlando Bloom), the human Boromir, and the dwarf Gimli. Along the way, the Lord of the Rings expeditionary army not only had to escape the pursuit of Sauron's minions, the Black Knights and the orcs, but also had to resist the evil temptation of the One Ring itself. The future was full of difficulties.
