In the scorching summer, in order to find the invincible rhinoceros beetle, Nobita (voiced by Megumi Ohara) cried bitterly and tried hard to persuade Doraemon (voiced by Wasabi Mizuta). In desperation, Doraemon and Dorami (voiced by Chiaki) took out the time circle to help Nobita find rhinoceros beetles in New Zealand 500 years ago, but they accidentally caught the extinct terror bird. In order to prevent the terror bird from going extinct, they decided to send it to the Miracle Island. The Miracle Island is an island developed by future scientists specifically for the shelter, protection and research of extinct animals. Legend has it that there is a golden rhinoceros beetle on the island, which can inject life force into local creatures. After twists and turns, Nobita and his friends came here and met the mysterious boy Dake (voiced by Masako Nozawa) who is very similar to Nobita, as well as the kind-hearted Rokoro tribe. At the same time, an unscrupulous businessman plots to catch the golden rhinoceros beetle... This film commemorates the 100th anniversary of Doraemon's birth.
