Ice house waiter Ng Yiu-chung (Roger Kwok) and interior designer Monk Yat-yin (Alex Tam) meet because of a kidnapping case, a case of amnesia, a missing woman, and a huge sum of money, and they develop a subtle friendship. After being rescued, Yat-yin suffers from amnesia and forgets about being kidnapped. His wife, Yau Fei-yee (Grace Wong), who paid the ransom, is nowhere to be found. Yat-yin wants to rely on Yat-chung to find out the whole story of the kidnapping and the whereabouts of Fei-yee; but Yat-chung wants to use Yat-yin to find the missing ransom while hiding his own involvement in the case. With the help of psychotherapist Lam Hoi-ching (Roxanne Tong), Yat-yin recovers his fragmented memories. However, as the lost memory fragments are gradually reassembled, the unexpected truth is gradually revealed...
