Asakusa Midori (Asuka Saito), a first-year high school student, is an anime fan who emphasizes that "setting is life." She writes and accumulates various ideas in a sketchbook, but because she cannot act alone, she cannot take a step towards animation production. Sayaka Kanemori (Miha Umezawa), who has the temperament of a producer, quickly noticed Asakusa's talent. At the same time, they learned that Mizusaki Yan (Mizuki Yamashita), a classmate and rising star reader model, actually hopes to become an animator. The three set up a video research institute to show the "strongest world" in their brains. The movie version of "Don't mess with the video research institute!" will be released in early summer 2020
