The story takes place in an orphanage called Grace Farm, where there are many children who have lost their loved ones and are homeless. There are 36 of them in total. Every day, in addition to working and playing, the children have to study and take tests. Among them, the best are a girl named Emma (voiced by Sumire Moroboshi) and a boy named Norman (voiced by Maaya Uchida). The woman in charge of managing and caring for these children is named Isabella (voiced by Yuko Kaida), and the children like to call her "Mom". Every once in a while, a child will be adopted and leave the farm, and the children living here regard this as their life goal. By chance, Emma discovered the secret hidden behind this orphanage. The children who left were not adopted at all, but slaughtered. The children living in Grace Farm are actually the "livestock" raised by this farm.
