MGM has assembled a team for the stop-motion animation version of "The Addams Family". In addition to Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Allison Janney, Chloë Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard, Nick Kroll, and Bette Meider have also joined. It tells the story of a weird and eccentric family confronting a cunning reality show host. The family is also preparing for the arrival of a new life and will hold an Addams-style celebration party. Isaac and Theron voiced Gomez and Morticia Addams, Moretz voiced Wednesday, Wolfhard voiced Pugsley, Meider voiced grandmother, Kroll voiced Uncle Fester, and Jenny voiced the villain Margaux Needler. Directed by Conrad Vernon (Sausage Party, Madagascar 3, Shrek the Monsters 2) and Greg Tieman (Sausage Party), the cartoonist, producer of the series of TV series and movies, Charles Adams, Matt Lieberman, and Pamela Pettler (Corpse Bride, Monster House, Robot 9) co-wrote the script, and it will be released in North America on October 11, 2019. The original comic was created by Charles Adams and revolves around Gomez & Morticia Adams and their children Wednesday, Pugsley and a group of relatives. The Adams family is a typical Gothic family, rich but eccentric, and the complex relationships between relatives and the struggle for property have thrown their lives into chaos. It was first adapted into a live-action TV series in 1964, and then animated versions were developed one after another. Three live-action movies were released in 1991, 1993, and 1998, and it was also adapted into a musical and landed on Broadway.
